For the proposed tree plantation to be carried out by SayTrees at eight sites in Bagepalli Taluk, Chikkaballapur district located approximately 100 km north of Bengaluru, as well as the urban lake restoration project at Choodasandra, we planned to implement Evaluation and monitoring (E&M), conceptualized and devised to assess the processes and outcomes of different type of Restoration Projects (RPs). The novel E&M© framework is a tool designed to empirically evaluate RPs based on social, economic and ecological outcomes measured against natural and human capital baselines derived at appropriate scales.
