I am Keerthana Raja, a Research Associate with a postgraduate degree in Life Sciences. My work involves herbarium and taxonomic curation of plant collections, managing the herbarium and its database, overseeing plant sample databases, and conducting molecular research on various flowering plant families. I also contribute to creating distribution maps using software like ArcGIS and QGIS. I am particularly interested in studying Crop Wild Relatives (CWR) and applying species distribution modeling to identify optimal areas for conservation and habitat suitability. By integrating advanced analytical techniques, I aim to contribute valuable insights that support biodiversity preservation and enhance the resilience of agricultural systems.
