Jayshree has worked at Srishti Films as a Project Assistant faculty, capturing the lives of Shepherd communities in Himachal Pradesh through films. Her notable work is as an assistant producer in the second edition of the Emmy award-winning film Tashi and the Monk, shot in the extreme altitudes in the Eastern Himalayas of Arunachal Pradesh.

She is a storyteller from Assam who delved into storytelling during her Green Hub Fellowship, igniting her passion for conservation narratives. She pursued her master’s in Environmental Studies (Conservation Practice) from ATREE, Bangalore, focusing her thesis on Assam’s state bird and its related folk tales in a documentary with Round Glass Sustain. She loves watching movies and being in nature.
