I have a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. I previously worked at a start-up addressing agriculture value chain challenges via decision intelligence through ML tools and satellite images. I have always been interested to design simple efficient solutions in the domain of conservation and sustainability using spatial data science. At ATREE, my work revolves around understanding variabilities causing land degradation in different ecosystems, mapping the spread and extent of invasive species in forests; in addition to co-designing research protocols with standardized ecological parameters for the expansion of trees outside of forests in seven Indian states.
