Adithya works as a Senior Policy Analyst at ATREE and with the Ecological Restoration Alliance-India’s Policy Desk. He has previously worked with Dakshin Foundation as Programme Officer for the Sustainable Livelihoods and Fisheries program on sustainability of small-scale fisheries, conducted research on marine livelihoods, and engaged coastal communities in Tamil Nadu and Odisha on issues of rights and entitlements, resource monitoring and resource co-management. He has also worked on projects relating to marine fishing subsidies and support for marine conservation in India. Prior to Dakshin, he has worked in the Andamans on the interactions of small-scale fishers with marine megafauna with the Wildlife Institute of India. He is interested in issues of political ecology, sociology and participatory forms of resource governance
