Priyanka Jamwal is a Programme Leader and Senior Fellow at the Water and Society Programme. She is a civil engineer by training and holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering and Management from IIT Delhi. She received a Research Associateship fellowship from IISc Bangalore to pursue her interest in groundwater quality management in rural areas.
Priyanka works at the intersection of science and policy, with key areas of interest including water quality management, urban lake restoration, nature-based solutions, wastewater management, and public health. She has an extensive array of publications across disciplinary and interdisciplinary journals and has received several fellowships and awards, including the Fulbright Nehru Academic Excellence Fellowship and the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure Fellowship.
